Graduated in Applied Mathematics, Market Finance, Actuarial Science and Computer Management, Cissé ABDOU began his career as a Professor of Mathematics in Dakar for five years. He then continued his training in stochastic calculus applied to market finance and economics in Paris. In 1998, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique (E.N.S.A.E) in Actuarial Science and Finance.

After ten years with the BANCASSURANCE division of the HSBC Group in Paris and four years with the Actuarial division of the ASTON and CSC-PIT MARWIT consulting firms, Cissé ABDOU returned to Africa in 2009 to create the CISCO CONSULTING firm, specialized in Actuarial and Finance. Entirely dedicated to the African continent, the firm assists banks, insurance companies, provident funds and all types of companies in the fields of actuarial science, finance, asset-liability management, management of social commitments and pension management. Cissé ABDOU has directed four theses of actuary at the I.A of Paris (Institute of Actuaries), the last of which, in 2009, proposed a response to the Solvency 2 project, centered on the calculation of economic capital by the method of stochastic deflators.

Cissé ABDOU has also published numerous articles on actuarial science, market finance and economics.
